I just turned 16 and I'm a poker fan, can I play in your poker room?
No. The minimum age is 18.

My PC is old. Can I still play?
Our software does not demand much in the way of resources. The minimum configuration in order to play Chilipoker is Pentium II 500MHZ with 256 Mo of Ram, a 16 color graphics car, a 800*600 screen resolution and a 56k modem, all on Microsoft Windows. For the best results, the recommended configuration is a Pentium III 1GHZ with 256 Mo of Ram, a 32mo graphics card and a high speed Internet connection.

I have a Mac. Can I download and play on your software?
Yes, you can. But only if your Mac is of the latest generation (with Intel). In this case you can use Chilipoker software for windows through VMware Fusion or Parallels Desktop.
Also, a Linux version is also accessible through VMware Fusion.

I can't connect to your software
There could be several reasons for this:
Make sure your firewall accepts all the connections coming from Chilipoker.
You are not connected as the administrator (firewall).
Make sure you've selected "accept all cookies".
If the problem persists, call our customer service.

My account has been deactivated. Why?
An account belonging to a player who has been inactive for a year or more may be deactivated.
A player who has committed fraud will have his or her account deactivated.
If you enter more than three passwords, your account will automatically become inactive for 15 minutes. This is a security measure. At the end of 15 minutes, you will be able to enter your password. If you've forgotten it, you can contact us at support.fr@chilipoker.co.uk

I can't find the file I just downloaded !
On Windows, click on start, then search, and then file or folders. Put SetupPoker.exe in the search field. After a few seconds your computer should find the file. Double click on it and follow the instructions that appear.


SECURITY

Is it legal to play Chilipoker?
Yes, because Chilipoker exists legally in the country where it is based (the United Kingdom). Consult the laws in effect in your country of residence.

What kind of security do you implement during your games?
Our players must be able to play in the best possible conditions.
Therefore, we protect our players in two distinct ways:
The random card generator is certified by an independent organization to avoid any bias in card dealing. You can find a complete explanation on our security page. Our teams regularly inspect games in order to detect collusion or attempts at cheating. Any suspicion will result in increased surveillance and investigation. You can contact us at securite@chilipoker.co.uk if you suspect any tipe of fraud. We'll take immediate action.

I lost my password!
If you send us an email, we'll generate a new password that we'll quickly send to you through email. You will then be able to change your password to whatever you like.

How can I help Chilipoker protect my account?
It is essential to keep your password secret. Never tell your password to anyone. No member of the Chilipoker team will ever ask you for it, and the only time you'll need it is when you are connecting to your account on our site. We'll regularly ask you to change your password.

I don't get emails from Chilipoker
That's probably because your mailbox is labeling them as spam. Please authorize the Chilipoker emails (on hotmail for example, this is called placing them on the "green list").


THE SOFTWARE

I would like to play under several different names. Can I open several accounts?
No, each player can only open one account.

I want to change my username!
It is not possible for you to change your username, because this is what identifies you to your friends and opponents. You may, however, change your avatar.

Can I play at more than one table at a time?
You may open and play on up to 14 tables at one time.

Where are the free games in your software?
You can find all our free games by clicking on "Play in fun mode". For example, we regularly organize tournaments with no signup fee. All you have to do is click on "Tournament Schedule" and then "Free games".

I was gone for an hour and when I got back I was no longer at my tables
If you are absent for more than three hands, you are automatically considered inactive and will be replaced so that other players who are waiting can sit down as quickly as possible.

I got a warning because of my Live Chat behavior. What did I do wrong?
The live chat is a space for dialogue and you are encouraged to express yourself.

However, a few rules and common sense do apply:
Insults: It is forbidden to insult another player with vulgarity, racist or anti religious remarks. Certain words will be automatically censored.
Begging: We do not allow players to ask for money – real or play – from other players.
Advertisements and flooding: A player can be excluded from the live chat if they have tried to advertize or generate repeated messages
Use of English: Even though Chilipoker is mainly designed for French players, there are players of all nationalities present. The language of choice for the live chat is English. The use of any other language could result in suspension of chat room use.
In case of abuse: If you are a victim of one a breach of one of the aforementioned rules, please contact us immediately so that we can take the necessary steps.
Do not respond to insults – this will result in the suspension of both parties from the chat room.
